We are halfway through Ohio, still westbound via the Ohio turnpike. So far, the most exciting thing we have seen in this state is a General Motors plant. Katherine says she favors the food processing machinery plant, which may lend perspective on how the trip through Ohio is progressing! Picture the I-695 beltway coupled with the scenery of the Maryland Eastern Shore, minus the water, plus more elevation changes. Now you can say you've visited Ohio!
I'm sure the state offers much more than just the view from the turnpike, but since we have chosen to take the express route, our Ohio scenic drive will have to take place at a later date.
Chicago or bust!
